I've been fortunate to lead and work with  highly effective cross-functional teams throughout my career.  Together we created many successful and innovative new products which delighted consumers and grew sales and profits for customers and leading national brands.

Along with managing our market research activity, Steve spear-headed the development and launch of a major product category extension for Dremel, gaining a strong #2 position in the marketplace and generating strong sales and profits for the company.

Steve was a strong product management professional that I worked with at Dremel. He was responsible for successfully leading Dremel into an adjacent market to drive non-canibalistic sales as he launched a new product line and related accessories. He successfully determined the competitive set, identified the prefered features based on consumer insights, and managed a cross-functional team to develop and launch a superior product. After successfully entering the category wiht the new product line, he grew Dremel's market share substantially. Ultimately, Dremel ended up purchasing the competitive product line, and Steve became responsible for positioning and managing both brands successfully. Steve is very passionate about his product lines, driven to succeed, and clearly communicates expectations.
